   Are you passionate about history, culture, and community? Do you want to make a difference in preserving and sharing the heritage of our local area? If so, we invite you to join us as a volunteer!
   We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are interested in contributing their time and talents to help us fulfill our mission of preserving and showcasing the rich history of our community. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to preserving our local heritage for future generations.
   Volunteering with us is a unique and rewarding experience. You will have the chance to deepen your understanding of local history and museum operations, interact with visitors from all walks of life, and engage with our fascinating exhibits and collections. Whether you have a background in history, education, customer service, or simply a love for learning, there are a variety of volunteer roles available to match your interests and skills.
   Some of the volunteer opportunities at our museum include:
   Docents/Guides: Lead tours, provide information about exhibits, and engage with visitors to enhance their museum experience.
   Collections Assistants: Help with cataloging, organizing, and preserving our collections, including artifacts, documents, and photographs
   Events and Programs Assistants: Assist with planning, coordinating, and facilitating museum events, workshops, and educational programs.
   Outreach Ambassadors: Represent the museum at community events, schools, and other locations to promote our mission and programs.
   ​​​​​No prior museum experience is necessary, as training will be provided. All you need is a passion for history, a willingness to learn, and a friendly attitude!
   By volunteering at our museum, you will not only contribute to the preservation of our local history, but also be part of a vibrant and inclusive community that values our cultural heritage. Your efforts will help us continue to provide engaging exhibits, educational programs, and enriching experiences for our visitors.
