The City of Ravenswood
Founded in 1852 on land once owned by George Washington.
Nestled along the Ohio River, the City of Ravenswood is located in Jackson County, West Virginia. Home to over 3,500 residents and 1,600 households, the city is a little slice of paradise totaling 1.9 square miles in the northwest corner of the state. Harkening back to the old American towns of the past, Ravenswood is a wonderful place to raise a family. Friday night football at the local high school draws in residents from across the city, and our unique character welcomes all. Our friendly, safe, and inviting city embraces visitors from across the US. Whether you come for family, business, or pleasure, you are welcome in Ravenswood.
