PACF awards over $100,000 in grant funds to local organizations

Grant recipients included:

City of Ravenswood BOPARC ($5,000) – City park greenhouse and property beautification

City of Ravenswood On Trac ($15,000) – Executive Director position ($12,500) and beautification projects ($2,500)

City of Ravenswood Police ($11,903) – Purchase of a drone

Hope House Ministries ($2,500) – General operating support

Pilot Club of Jackson County ($10,000) – Dental needs of Ravenswood residents

Ravenswood High Weight Room ($20,000) – Upgrade equipment in the weight room used by all sports and physical education classes

Ravenswood High Track ($10,000) – Upgrade the track facility

Ravenswood Youth Soccer Club ($15,000) – Support revitalization of youth soccer with equipment and jerseys

Read Aloud of WV/Jackson County – Book Bundles for Ravenswood Grade School

Caught Doing Good Grants

American Red Cross ($10,000) – honoring Chip and Jan Pickering for their work with flood relief in North Carolina and Florida

Ravenswood United Methodist Church ($3,000) – Adopt a Ravenswood Family program

For Him, Inc. ($2,500) – Support food and family ministries

Operation Fancy Free – General support for recognition of Kathy Stone’s diligent efforts

Ravenswood High Basketball Team – Support the basketball program at the discretion of Coach Price.
